'Game Of Thrones' season 6 has been quite the rollercoaster, leaving fans a little disturbed, frequently relieved and, finally, purely stunned. First of all, there's the whole Jon Snow deal. That's pretty much the only character anyone cares about, which is a shame because he died last series (or did he?). As you can probably predict, Williams, being one of the main stars, is constantly getting asked about Snow's fate rather than her own character's life. 'People ask me all the time and I'm just left wondering, 'what about Arya?' No one wants to hear about Jon Snow. There's loads of other exciting story lines that are going on in the show', she said in an interview on 'Late Night With Seth Meyers', unambiguously gesturing towards herself.

‘Doctor Who’ writer Mark Gatiss has revealed he’s open to the idea of the next Doctor being female with a male assistant. Currently Jenna Coleman stars as the Doctor’s assistant Clara Oswald, but the actress will be leaving the show before the end of this series, making room for the Timelord’s new companion.

Speaking after the Attitude Awards in London, Gatiss said, "It would be very interesting if the Doctor had a male companion... but then it would be a very male show.” The writer then went on to say that he would be "delighted" if in the future the Doctor is played by a woman.

‘Game of Thrones’ star Maisie Williams has spoken about her latest role, as a young Viking named Ashildr on ‘Doctor Who’. Williams stars in this Saturday’s episode of the sci-fi series titled ‘The Girl Who Died’, as the Doctor find himself in a Viking village where all the warriors have just been slaughtered.

Alex Kingston will reprise her role as River Song in this year’s ‘Doctor Who’ Christmas special, the actress has confirmed. It will be the first time the character has met Peter Capaldi’s incarnation of the Doctor, after last being seen in season seven opposite Matt Smith.

“To be honest, I did not know whether River would ever return to the show, but here she is, back with the Doctor for the Christmas special,” Kingston said, while also hinting that the upcoming special will contain more "surprise guest castings”.

‘Game of Thrones’ has just entered the Guinness Book Of World Records for  ‘Largest TV drama simulcast.’ Maisie Williams, who stars as Arya Stark in the HBO drama, picked up the award on behalf of the series on Monday, saying she was ‘pleased’ to see the show enter the record books.

The series broke the record earlier this year, when the second episode of season five was broadcast simultaneously in 173 countries. Previously the simulcast record for a drama had been held by 'CSI' who only managed to broadcast in two countries.

Maisie Williams has filmed her first ever sex scene. The 18-year-old actress is best known for playing Arya Stark in Game of Thrones. Whilst Game of Thrones features some pretty explicit scenes, Williams’ character has yet to appear in one. However, in her soon-to-be-released film, The Falling, her character is embroiled in a steamy sex scene but, according to Williams, it wasn’t at all erotic to shoot.

Prince Doran - We've only seen Prince Doran Martell (Alexander Siddig) in one episode so far, he's already made a strong impression on everyone. The elder brother of fan favourite Oberyn, who came to a horribly messy end in the last season, Prince Doran is trying his best to keep the peace in Dorne, and stop his people from seeking revenge against the Lannisters. It stands to reason, however, that his death would make give them a great reason to rise up and start a war.

Brienne/Podrick - Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) and Podrick (Daniel Portman) have been giving us a good dose of the "two buddies traveling", following in the footsteps of Tyrion (Peter Dinklage ) and Bronn (Jerome Flynn), and Arya (Maisie Williams) and the Hound (Rory McCann). The problem is, that each of those has come to a rather disastrous ending at some point, and the death of Brienne or Podrick seems likely - especially with what they seem to be getting themselves into.

Now 18, Williams is making the leap to the big screen in Carol Morley's 'The Falling', the hugely acclaimed, artful drama about a fainting epidemic at a girls' school in 1969.

So why did she opt for something so offbeat rather than a big blockbuster? "I get sent loads of roles that are all action or moody teenagers. But the character Lydia was just very different to anything I've done before," she says. "Sometimes it feels like no one can get 'Game of Thrones' out of their heads. They think I just run around with swords, covered in mud and blood. It was lovely that Carol gave me the opportunity to prove I can do something else."

If you thought ‘Game of Thrones’ couldn't get any bigger or better then think again as HBO and IMAX have just struck a deal to bring the series to selected IMAX theatres. For one week only, beginning on January 23rd, 150 US theatres will screen the final two episodes of the series' fourth season, as well as an exclusive season 5 trailer.

The two episodes, titled ‘The Watchers on the Wall’ and ‘The Children', will be digitally remastered to fit the IMAX format, meaning they'll look even more spectacular than they did on the small screen last year.
