Harry Hart met his end in 'Kingsman: The Secret Service'…or did he?
Colin Firth’s return for Kingsman sequel The Golden Circle appears to be official, just months after a poster was released teasing that his character might not be dead after all. Firth played agent Harry Hart in the first movie, but the character was killed off before the end, leaving his protege Eggsy (played by Taron Egerton) to take his place as the newest Kingsman.
While Firth’s return had been rumoured for months, on Monday (July 11) ‘Game of Thrones’ star Pedro Pascal, who has joined the cast for the sequel, seemed to confirm the news on Instagram when he shared an image of Firth on set with the caption ‘Hide behind Harry.’

Last February director Matthew Vaughan had revealed he was trying to come up with a way to get Harry to return. "A lot of people are very upset that Colin might not be in the sequel but I’m coming up with ideas at the moment,” he told USA Today. “If people buy tickets in America, I’ve got a feeling we’ll figure out a way for having Colin back."
Then in April Taron Egerton shared a movie poster which featured Harry’s trademark glasses and read ‘Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated’ along with the caption ‘A message from an old friend.’

Along with Pascal the sequel will also feature more new stars joining the returning Egerton, Firth and Mark Strong. Julianne Moore has been cast as villain Poppy, Halle Berry as the head of the CIA, and Channing Tatum and Jeff Bridges have also signed up in as-yet-unrevealed roles.
