Our wish list for musical guests on potential UK version.
So apparently, James Corden might be bringing his much-loved 'Late Late Show' to the UK, which means a very different calibre of guests for his legendary Carpool Karaoke. He may have his own wish list of potential guests for a UK version, but so do we.
James Corden to bring Carpool Karaoke to the UK?
It isn't like he's never had Brits on the segment before, but we think the fact that One Direction, Chris Martin, Adele and Elton John have been amongst some of the most popular Carpool Karaoke videos is reason enough to bring it to the nation fully. 'We do have some stuff planned this year - which might involve being in the UK', he told the Radio Times. It seems only right, given that the 'Late Late Show' skit originated from a 2011 Red Nose Day clip featuring the late George Michael.
Reportedly, James would love to get Victoria and David Beckham in the passenger seat(s) as well as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. And while he has had First Lady Michelle Obama join him in one edition of the show, it's true that he generally selects musical guests.
With that in mind, we have a few people in mind we'd like to see get involved:
Liam Gallagher: We're unlikely to get to see Oasis together, but we imagine the straight-talking Mancunian would be great fun, singing along to karaoke classics like 'Wonderwall', 'Don't Look Back in Anger', 'Champagne Supernova' and perhaps a few Beady Eye numbers. Or not. We can also imagine him being in the car but refusing to join in.
Liam Gallagher could make for a rebellious passenger
The Rolling Stones: James Corden would be lying if he said he has never dreamt of having Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts in the car with him. There can't possibly be anything more exciting than a bunch of 69-75-year-old rockstars doing '(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction' and 'Brown Sugar'. And Keith being repeatedly berated for smoking in the car.
James could just about squeeze these oldies into his car
Gorillaz: It might not be as simple as the regular Carpool Karaoke episodes, but if they can project Damon Albarn and co.'s characters onto a live stage, they can do it in James Corden's car. It's probably never going to happen, but if it did it would get so many views.
Damon Albarn would be excellent in his cartoon guise
Radiohead: We can just imagine James Corden putting his all into 'Creep' and 'Fake Plastic Trees'. They're a really serious band, but Thom Yorke is still a down-to-Earth guy so they'd get up to a lot of hijinks compensating for the melancholy of the sing-a-longs.
Who wouldn't want to sing with Radiohead?
Lily Allen: This outstpoken Londoner would be just as much as fun as Adele was, if not more. And James would do such a good job with 'Smile', 'Not Fair' and 'The Fear'.

We want James Corden to drive round London with Lily Allen
Spice Girls: I'll tell you what we want, what we really really want! We really, really, really want Spice Girls to re-unite just for one episode of Carpool Karaoke. Please. Or if one of them can't make it, we're sure James would have no problems donning a wig and playing the part, giving it everything for 'Wannabe'.
Which Spice Girl would James be?
James Blunt: We're actually surprised that this hasn't happened yet, but maybe now he's got his new album 'The Afterlove' coming out later this month, it might. His self-depricating humour and lightning clap-backs are everything on Twitter and he's just as compelling in real life.
We're still waiting for James Blunt to appear on Carpool Karaoke
