In what could be one of the most unique interactive ideas for a horror movie yet, Kendall Schmidt will take part in a 'social séance' on October 10th alongside a special screening of upcoming ghost flick 'Ouija'.

From the producers of 'Paranormal Activity' and 'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre', and starring Olivia Cooke from 'Bates Motel', 'The Secret Life of the American Teenager' actor Daren Kagasoff and up-and-coming star Ana Coto, the movie is set in a spooky old house where a girl is killed after apparently awakening a malevolent spirit when she stumbled across a lost ouija board. In a bid to make contact once again, her beloved sister decides to set up a séance with their friends using the same spirit board. However, it soon becomes clear that this chilling game is a lot more real (and dangerous) than they could ever have anticipated. The film serves as the directorial debut of Stiles White, who co-wrote the screenplay alongside Juliet Snowden, with whom he previously worked on 'The Possession' and 'Knowing'.

Pending the release of this chilling poltergeist thriller, Kendall Schmidt from Nickelodeon's 'Big Time Rush' is encouraging fans and followers to get involved in the spook fest of a lifetime by getting them to Tweet some questions that may be asked in a real-life séance, set to take place after the movie's screening at Hollywood Cemetery in LA on October 10th. Taking part in the séance is Kendall himself, along with the film's cast and a professional psychic who'll all be trying to reach the spirit world ahead of the movie's release. Fans can send in as many questions as they like and will be able to see if theirs were answered in the forthcoming footage from the event.

23-year-old heartthrob Kendall may not be the first person you think of when you're talking ghosts, but the actor has dipped his toes in the supernatural before having appeared in an episode of fantasy drama 'Ghost Whisperer' back in 2009. 'Poor Paul' and 'The Penguins of Madagascar' series are among his other credits, though his current passion lies with his pop band Heffron Drive, with whom he released debut album 'Happy Mistakes' in September.

There's no telling who Kendall and friends will be waking up this October, with Hollywood Cemetery's notable residents including former US presidents James Monroe and John Tyler, but let's hope the results are nothing like the ones in 'Ouija'!

Be sure to Tweet @OuijaTheMovie with your ghostly questions along with the hashtag #OuijaSeance. 'Ouija' will hit movie theaters on October 24th 2014.
