William Emerson "Will" Arnett (born 4.5.1970)
Will Arnett is a Canadian Actor. He starred in many plays in New York as part of his early acting life. He is most recognisable for his role as George Oscar "Gob" Bluth II on Fox comedy series Arrested Development.
Will Arnett: Childhood
Will Arnett was born in Toronto, Canada. He is the son of Edith Alexandra and Emerson James Arnett. His father graduated from Harvard University and was a CEO of Marlson Breweries, as well as a corporate lawyer.
Arnett attended Lakefield College School, after being told not to return for his troublemaking behaviour; he was accepted for acting classes at Tarragon theatre. He attended Concordia University, Montreal but dropped out after the first semester. His teenage years were influenced by acting, and his mother encouraged his auditions for Commercials in Toronto.

Arnett moved to New York in 1990 to study at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. He played roles in many small plays, and then made his debut acting role in Felicity Huffman's independent film 'Erie' in 1996.
In 1999, Arnett was cast as Jimmy on The Mike O' Malley Show for America's NBC unfortunately after two episodes the show was cancelled.
Arnett re-bounded with a role as FBI Agent, Mike Waldrup on the hit TV series The Sopranos.
In 2003, Arnett was convinced by his agent to audition for 'Arrested Development' and found mainstream success as George Oscar "Gob" Bluth II on the show. Most recognisable for his catchphrase "I've made a huge mistake". Arnett was nominated for an Emmy in 2006. Despite a cult-fan base, the show was cancelled after three seasons.
The star has had success in many small shows up until 2010 when he and co-star of Arrested Development, Jason Bateman created DumbDumb Productions company that focussed mainly on digital content.
In recent years, Arnett has turned his sights on the world of voice work for advertisements, film trailers and most recognisable for the GMC (General Motors Company) trucks adverts. He did the voice of Vlad in CGI film 'Horton Hears A Who' and Horst the German sous-chef in Disney Pixar's Ratatouille.
Will Arnett: Personal Life
Arnett shortly turned to alcoholism and declared 2000 "The darkest year of his life.". In the summer, he turned his career around.
Arnett has two children, Archibald William Emerson Arnett (born on October 25, 2008 in New York City) and Abel James Arnett (born on August 6, 2010) to actress and co-star of Arrested Development Amy Poehler, and is a die-hard fan of the Toronto Blue Rays and Toronto Maple Leafs.
