Yungblud, "just some f**king poser", gets run over by a car driven at speed by Sharon Osbourne, as her husband looks on in surprise from the passenger seat, in the video for - 'The Funeral'. Troubled by the uncertainty of what's just occurred Ozzy asks - "What the f**k was that?" before Sharon replies nonchalantly - "Just some f**king poser". Ozzy's response - "Ah, run him over again then".
YUNGBLUD announced new music was on the way on March 5th when he posted a handwritten image that read - "To whom this may concern. For those I let down I’m sorry, for those who let me down, f**k you but I forgive you. You are cordially and graciously invited to my funeral".
'The Funeral' is Dominic Harrison's (aka YUNGBLUD) first release of 2022 and his first since he shared the single 'fleabag' back in August of last year. The '21st Century Liability' singer is expected to release at least one album this year, but has already said that album's three and four are "ready to go".
In an interview with Hanuman Welch for Apple Music YUNGBLUD said that - "I’ve been in London. I’ve been making kind of the third record, and I’m just so excited about it. This is, for me, the most personal music I’ve ever written. And I think people are going to be a bit shocked about that because all my other music is pretty personal. I think I just need to say it as it is: completely uncensored, completely outrageously. And I think this is what this album’s doing. You know what I mean? That’s what I do. And my favourite songs I’ve ever released are the songs that do that. So, you know what I mean? Get ready".
YOUNGBLUD has not yet shared the name of his new album, the follow up to 2020's 'weird!' or given a firm release date but it is expected sometime in the first half of this year.
'The Funeral' was released via Locomotion recordings on March 11th.
